Extreme Sports Quote of the Week – Laird Hamilton

Here is your Monday Motivation for all of you action sports enthusiasts and athletes looking for a  little extra motivation to start your week. Laird Hamilton is a surfing legend! Not only is he one of the best big wave surfers in the world, he is constantly striving to push his own limits of success and help others to do the same in their own lives. Year’s ago, Outside magazine posted “Laird’s Laws” outlining 17 different rules or commandments if you will about Laird Hamilton’s views on life.  Here is one of my favorite quotes taken from this article:

“People don’t want to do new things if they think they’re going to be bad at them or people are going to laugh at them. You have to be willing to subject yourself to failure, to be bad, to fall on your head and do it again, and try stuff that you’ve never done in order to be the best you can be.” – Laird Hamilton
