How fast does the Razor MX125 go?

How fast does the Razor MX 350 go?

The Razor MX350 is a big step up from the Razor MX125.  The MX350 tops out at 14 mph.  It comes equipped with a 250 Watt single speed motor and is powered by a 24V lead-acid battery.  This provides a continuous ride time of approximately 30 minutes.  The second smallest of the Razor dirt bike group this bike is designed for smaller riders, ages 13 and older up to 140 lbs.

How fast does the Razor MX500 go?

How fast does the Razor MX650 go?

The Razor MX650 will go up to 17 mph.  It’s the biggest and fastest of the Razor dirt bike group.  Like the MX500, the Razor MX650 also has a 650 Watt variable speed motor powered by a 36V lead-acid battery.  It is designed for a more experienced rider in the age group of 16 and up.  It can also take a heavier load, maxing out at 220 lbs.

How do I make my Razor Dirt Bike go Faster?

Ok, still reading. Then you are the type that wants to push it just a little more, or maybe a lot more.  Here are some tips to help you get that extra adrenaline rush that comes with the extra speed!

There are a few things you can do to make your Razor dirt bike go a little faster without modifications.  First, make sure the tires are fully inflated.  Riding with low tire pressure will increase the friction and slow you down.  When the tires are inflated properly the bike will run smoothly and hit higher top speeds.

Second, make sure the battery is fully charged.  Running on low charge battery will slow you down a bunch.  Here’s how it works.  When the battery is fully charged it puts out the max voltage.  As the battery starts to discharge the voltage starts to decline, sending less power to your motor.  So, if you want to make your Razor dirt bike go faster, make sure you always fully charge the battery before heading out for a ride. 

Third, make sure you have the right rider size for your dirt bike.  Yes, it makes a difference, if you try and ride the smaller bikes as a larger rider (more than the max weight) the motor has to work harder to get the bike to top speed.  Naturally it’ll go slower.  To go faster get the right sized bike for your ride.  

There are also some things you can do to modify your Razor dirt bike to make it go faster.  One easy one is to change the tires.  The Razor dirt bikes come with knobby tires designed for rough terrain and trials.  If you were to switch out to street tires because you are looking for maximum speed on the pavement a tire designed for street will be a quick change that will reduce friction and allow for a higher speed.  

If you really want to supe it up, there are other mods you can do, like changing out the motor, controller and battery.  These aren’t always quick and easy though so be prepared for some work.  There are some companies out there that have put together kits for you though, to make the process a little easier.
