First Time Snowboarding Checklist

First and foremost, remember, kids get cold so bundle up and stay warm.  Here’s a quick list of things you’ll need to make sure you have:

  • Warm Snowboard Jacket
  • Pants (waterproof a must)
  • Long underwear
  • Insulating layers (this could be 2 pairs of long underwear, just different sizes)
  • Neck gaiter (sometimes overlooked but can make a real difference)
  • Socks (no anklets, come on now, get them above the calf)
  • Goggles
  • Mittens (again waterproof! remember your hands will be in the snow a lot)
  • Warmers (these can be a kids best friend, especially first timers)
