Shred the Streets on the Viro Rides Drift Board
Viro Rides has taken a kids electric skateboard and turned into a snowboard on wheels. If you’re not familiar with this concept, let us explain. There are a couple of manufacturers out there that have created electric skateboards with caster wheels that allow you to basically carve as if you’re riding a snowboard. With the help of the electric drive train, you can ride it on flat ground. Summerboard is one of the companies that manufacturers these skateboards and they’re pretty awesome! Viro Rides has taken this same concept and simplified it to create a cheaper, entry level board called the Viro Rides Drift Board. Instead of using caster wheels, the Drift Board uses a drift plate that moves the rear trucks and allows you to carve (steer) back and forth.
How does the VIRO Rides Drift Board work?
This kids electric skateboard is powered by a brushless hub motor. To engage the drifting feature, you twist your rear foot left or right while it’s rested on the drift plate. How fast does this kids electric skateboard go?
The VIRO Rides Drift Board top speed is 10 mph with a range of up to 6 miles or 40 minutes of continuous use on a full charge.
