Yeah, I know we spend a lot of time here on Wild Child Sports finding the best kids rides, like Razor dirt bikes, the best drift trikes, awesome hoverboards and more. Every once in a while it’s fun to take a look at some rides for the Wild Child inside the big kids. Today we want to look at some of the fastest electric scooters on the market.
Now there are a bunch of them out there and some of them look like the street legal gas powered scooters, but we are talking about the traditional models, you know the ones that look like kick scooters. Except these ones are electric and some of them look like they are on steroids. Starting with the slowest to the fastest, here are the fastest electric scooters we could find.
10. Swagtron Swagger 5 Elite
Dropping in at number 10 on our list is a great little scooter made by Swagtron. This model is the Swagger 5 Elite. It is portable and foldable so you can take it on the go almost anywhere. Not to mention it’s lightweight too. With a top speed of 18 mph this fast electric scooter will get you around town pretty quickly. It has a sturdy 250 watt electric hub motor that will power its riders up hills as steep as 20 degrees. Who is the Swagtron Swagger 5 Elite designed for?
As with most of the scooters on our fastest electric scooter list this is designed for a teenage to adult rider with a little experience. It’s built strong and can take riders up to 320 pounds.

9. Segway ES4 Ninebot
Coming in at number 9 of our list of fastest electric scooters is the Segway ES4 Ninebot. This is a sleek scooter brought to you by one of the premier makers of electric transportation and they did a great job on the Ninebot. It has a top speed of nearly 19 mph, topping out at 18.6 mph and has a solid range of 28 miles on a single charge. It’s equipped with an anti-lock electric prake system along with front and rear shock absorbers to provide a smooth ride while traveling at high speeds. It’s definitely not the fastest electric scooter, but it’s well built by a company with a great reputation for good products.
Equipped with a 300w battery it provides plenty of power for a great ride. Unfortunately it takes about 7 hours to charge, although it does come with both an internal and a removable external battery, so if you needed a longer ride you could likely carry a spare. This is not something possible on most other models. The battery is also built with protections against overcharging, short circuit, overheating and over current, which ensures longer life and lots of rides.

8. UberScoot 1000W
Who is the UberScoot 1000W designed for?
The Uberscoot 1000W is designed for the more experienced rider and can support a rider of up to 265 pounds.

In our searches we’ve found the Uberscoot 1000w scooters coming in at under $650. That’s quite a bit less than the Segway ES4 Ninebot, but sometimes the availability is lacking.

This is more of a lightweight scooter, but can still take most adult electric scooter riders as it support up to 220 pounds.

This is one of the most economical fastest electric scooters coming in at under $450.

5. eDrift UH-ES295 2.0
Yeah, we know, this scooter doesn’t fit what we were looking for, you know the stand up style scooter, although you could stand up on this one. Hey, you have to admit it is pretty cool though and can match the M Massimo Motor KXD top speed of 30 mph. This is entirely different though. It’s a bigger scooter designed for longer rides. This cruiser can take you on a ride of of to 65 miles per charge with it’s 2000w motor and this is the top scooter for the total distance out of all of the fastest electric scooters on the list. So if, you don’t mind the seated ride and are looking for a fast electric scooter that you can commute on, this may be the one for you.
Who is the eDrift UH-ES295 2.0 designed for?
This is designed for the adult rider. It supports up to 350 pounds (that’s as much as 2 people in a lot of cases, but we’re not recommending that)
How much does the eDrift UH-ES295 2.0 cost?
As you would guess as you get closer to the fastest electric scooter, the price goes up. This one will cost you about $1,750

- Max Distance – we really like that you can ride up to 65 miles on a single charge

We are back to the traditional looking electric kick scooter for number 4 on the fastest electric scooter list but from here on out they are anything but ordinary. This is the first of 2 Nanrobot scooters we’ve included and with a top speed of 40mph this creates a new tier of speed for stand up electric scooters. The D4+ sports two 1000W hub motors for a total of 2000w to get you where you’re going fast. It comes equipped with front and rear disc brakes along with a headlight for safety. The 10 inch tires and shock absorbers provide a smooth ride of 45 miles per charge.

Dropping in at number 2, the Nanrobot LS7 really competes for the fastest electric scooter. This is the premier scooter by Nanrobot. With two independent 1800w hub motors this electric scooter is cranking at a total 3600 watts motor power as it hits a cool top speed of 52 mph. Besting it’s little brothers by over 10 mph the LS7 can also take you on a 56 mile ride on a single charge. It also has larger 11 inch tires, a shock absorber system and reliable hydraulic disc brakes to give you a smooth safe ride.

When looking for overall fastest electric scooter, we found this one by Orscotter. The headline of the listing boasts a top speed of 55 mph. It’s powered by two 1600w motors for a total motor power of 3200w. With these powerful motors and the 60V lithium battery you can expect a lot. Although we could not find the actual total distance per charge similar setups like the Nanrobot scooters can get over 4o miles.
